Nice campground in the forest. During our stay very quiet and calm which was a very nice start of our three week trip in the USA. Pit toilet hadn't been emptied for a while and was not very clean. Therefore 4 stars.
nice campground. bathrooms are extremely clean and well maintained. we saw a fox at the campground and moose nearby. site 29 was spacious & convenient access to the bathrooms and dumpsters. firewood is available at the camp host for a donation. not much shade at the campground in general.
arrived late afternoon, loads of space at the end of summer. Beautiful sites amongst the aspen, cold but high. Great toilets and super clean site
Very minimal campsite with a picnic table, campfire pit, and access to restrooms. Other than that it is whatever you bring with you! Simplicity is not a bad thing, really nice to keep it simple. Sometimes. At $10 a night it's a great value. There are quite a few dogs and families with young kids here. A mixture of tents and campers among the camp sites. We stayed in campsite 33 which has great access to the restrooms and dumpsters just 30 yards away. It is a back in campsite. There are also pull through campsites if you prefer.
There was hardly anyone there for memorial weekend, so it was spacious for us. There's a short hiking trail that goes around the campground. Be sure to read the signs about the campground's history first, so you know what all the numbered posts are around the grounds.
