Really nice!! The spaces and facilities (restroom/showers) are all very clean, well maintained and you can tell a lot of hard work goes into keeping the entire park as such. As far as the staff goes, i can honestly say, every interaction we had with Bruce and his crew was nothing but pleasant. They were friendly, helpful, and we appreciate all their hard work to keep this lovely park going. I'm
I've lived here going on 3 years. I have never had an issue with management and they actually stop by and chat. I really enjoy it here considering most of the time I am at work. All in all it is clean, quiet and safe feeling.
Just a short time stay here for an event in Sacramento. This is mostly a residential park with a limited number of overnight spots. All spots have full hookups. There are very nice clean showers / restroom and laundry facilities. There's a nice pool but it was closed for the season when we visited. Bruce the manager and other park staff were friendly and accommodating. There are a few strict rules one needs to follow in this park. The wifi has a fairly complicated connection process but as it was explained to me it is designed to protect users from system hacking events. The wifi once connected is fast and trouble free. The park is gated and well maintained and is in a low rent part of town but we felt safe within the gates. The downside of the park is road noise from the adjacent I-80 business road and Union Pacific train tracks (no horns). We turned on a circulating fan in our RV to help mask the noise of the roadway which was fairly effective. It's an OK place for a convenient one or two night stay in the Sacramento area. I cannot comment on the long term stay situation at this park except to say that all the sites look well maintained.
Beautiful sites, very clean and quiet RV resort. Management was kind enough to let us check in a bit early since our site was available. Not a lot around the area, but centrally located and just a 15 minute drive to old town and the Capitol. Would return again if in the area. Thanks for the lovely stay!
Bruce the manager is very confrontational. A small problem was not handled in an appropriate manor. And Bruce spreads your business around the park. He is very unprofessional. Also the stated office hours are not adhered to says open 9:00 to 5:00, but most days it is closed before 4:40. If you see Bruce outside of the office he will not discuss or hear your concerns “ that’s a office problem” is his response. Sacramento Shade is an awesome park if it had different management.
