Warning to any car-campers or walk-ins: camp staff will come up to your car in the early morning while you’re sleeping and knock repeatedly DESPITE having a parking permit posted on your windshield. The interaction wasn’t polite nor did the man have any identification. Considering we paid to be at the camp because we considered it to be “safe” with so many people around, having a strange man with no identification question what you were there for was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. Will be looking for a place where you can camp in peace from now on.

Nice campground right on the lake. Real close to town. Has restrooms, water hook ups and beach access.

The drought brought a lot of the water down but it’s always pretty clean and refreshing out here.

A small quiet semi-private Campground on the beach right next to the lake. Bathrooms within walking distance
