Not crowded; clean sites. The lake was high. Bugs were at a minimum and the temperature was about 80 during the day. The sites are groomed (gravel picnic area is raked.) after every visitor. Access to lake and motorcycle/ATV trails. It’s also not that far from town in case you’ve forgotten something and need to stop at Walmart!
These were taking AT sunrise on 9 - 11 At 6:45 , things were so still and quite VERY EERY
It's Kanasas, it is a resouvour and when we were there at the end of July the water was very low on the lake. Coyotie sniffed our tent in the middle of the night, mosquitos were large and plenty. Showers great and easy self service pay camping.
This is a well kept camp ground that is in easy walking distance from the boat ramp, or a hike up the hill.
Would have liked shore power as temps were above 90
