*Military base* Saguaro Skies FamCamp (Luke AFB—Phoenix, AZ) $40/night Lovely & big Air Force base. Nice overnighter; wish we could stay longer, but we are pushing to get to CA for an event. This is a great place to walk, jog, or ride bikes. Nice commissary, & went to the PX, but it was closing in 3 minutes (it closes at 6 pm). Looks like a typical PX. Gas on base is at least 35 cents higher than Sam’s off base. I was impressed by the cacti and other vegetation. The guy at check-in told hubby NOT to feed the birds (except hummingbirds), but I don’t know why. Saw sooooooo many birds just chilling in a field and all I could think of was Alfred Hitchcock. Enter through the Litchfield gate (off Lightning Ave/Rd). You’ll take a right .5 miles at a flashing light, then a wide right at the stop sign. About a quarter of a mile on the left is the famcamp. Take the second left (the first is an exit only from the famcamp). You’ll see the RVs. The gate my GPS wanted me to take was closed. Once through the gate, follow the little brown sign to the famcamp. — at Luke AFB Famcamp.

Good place to stay . 40.00 per night. A lot of noise but it is a very active air force base. The bx and food court closes at 1800 (6:00 pm) every night. Commissary is one of the better ones in the system and closes at 8:00 PM. Internet at the sites is hit or miss. Mostly miss. If you need to go over to the East side of town plan on a 60 mile trip each way. Big city.. The mini mart and burger king also shut down at 6:00. They do have gas and diesel fuel at the pumps. Bx, commissary and mini mart are all located very close to the fam camp. The staff are first rate and keep the camp very clean and orderly.

Stayed for a couple weeks late September and early October. Hot, hot, hot! They were having an unusually late season heat wave. 105-115 every day. Did laundry late at night to avoid the heat. AC ran 24/7 to try and stay cool. Cement pad with rock everywhere, one small tree but could use more landscaping to beautify the sites. Very plain and open. Nice laundry room, big. And it’s free!! The park is located directly behind the commissary but the fast food on base closes too early, 6pm even on the weekends. I went to Subway in the BX complex on a Saturday evening at 5:15 and they had closed up early. That’s ridiculous. Need lighting through the park, very dark walking to do laundry at night. No grass for the pups to do their business.

Very clean with level concrete pads. Outstanding park that looks like new. Friendly staff. All pull through sites with full hookups. Laundry available too. It's on Luke AFB so it requires military base access.

Very nice place to stop...all facilities were very clean, three washers and dryers, a nice room to relax with lots of board games and books and right around the corner from both the commissary and BX...staff were helpful and the sites were all concrete and very spacious. Highly recommend!

We stayed for one night June 4, 2022. There were many open sites. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The sites are all pull through and there is a picnic table and small charcoal grill at each site. The commissary and PX are within walking distance. Very clean and well maintained. Would stay here again. :)
