Great location, right on the lake. One of the rare state campgrounds with showers. Perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, not a lot of boat traffic.
Fantastic campground. Paved roads throughout so it is a good place to bring the kids’ bikes. Well taken care of by camp hosts. Bathroom facilities were clean. $1 for 3 minutes to use the showers. Salmon Lake is a great lake to swim in.
This was a pretty nice campground, though it was a bit of a treck to the water to haul our kayaks. We have inflatables that don't fit in our vehicle inflated so we weren't able to take them to the boat ramp. A lot of the campsites are very close to one another and you almost feel like you're camping together, so we will likely go back to Placid Lake State Park next year
This is a beautiful clean campground. The camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. There is a nice beach and trail here too.
Nice place to be neighbors are space pretty far apart only thing is you have to collect water to put in your RV no hookups for water or sewer just electric
Just off the highway but there are sites away from it's noise. Had a view of the lake.
