Very relaxed, rustic rv park. We spent several days there with the Casita rally. Unfortunately I was pretty much confined to our rv with bad allergies there's lots of dirt blowing around. Lots of cool vintage buildings and even a swimming hole and cabins.

The cabins are actually really clean, that is what stood out to us. We were there for a family reunion and it is a great location for that. The golf cart rental is a must and they are really nice golf carts. The staff is super friendly. It's a true country feel, no TVs in the cabins which is nice. If I had to complain it was the pond, it was too nasty for us to swim, there was a foul smell coming from where the water enters from the overflow from the pond above.. the water appears to be pretty stagnant, there was a ton of algae covering the entire pond and there was a film you could see when people were swimming. I would recommend this place for family gatherings it's perfect for that. The pond was the only negative for us.

We have been coming to Salmon Lake Park since 2006 for our family reunions. We loved the off the grid nature of the park and getting away from technology. Not having WiFi/TV didn’t bother us since it was about spending time with family. However, since the new owners took over the place has severely gone downhill. Most of the cabins have termite and water rot damage. This started a few years back and we have let them know but we haven’t seen any improvements over the last few years. There’s a lot of nostalgia for us because of family members having cabins and now they have passed and are no longer with us. The prices have significantly gone up, but the park hasn’t improved. Some places aren’t even safe due to wood rot so many of our family doesn’t come anymore. We’ve spent 20 years with SLP for our reunions but with us having older family members, the cabins just aren’t safe for them to navigate anymore.
