Great little campground not very far from Stanley. You are right along the highway so it can be a little loud at times. The river is easily accessible most of the year and the bathrooms were clean. In the late season the river is low and can be a nice little place to dip your feet. Lots of trails nearby and if you need a little more privacy then Casino Creek Campground is just down the road.
Great primative camp site right on the river, which in August when we were there was gently flowing and only a couple feet deep, perfect for an afternoon dip/ wade. Even with the 3 year old, it felt nice and safe. I would recommend water shoes. The rocks are smooth and slippery in the water. The only thing I didnt love was how close to the road many of the sites were.
Great place to camp, close to the water for easy access to fish and plenty of trails to hike.
Good off the road camping spot. Restrooms were always clean and the area is in really good shape. Will visit again.
Nice campground. Our campsite did not have any trees so during the day it was hard to escape the heat and sun.
