Would recommend stay to friends; however, shower doors a little dirty in need of cleaning or painting. The grounds were wet in some areas and had some small amounts of liter. Staff nice, friendly and very helpful regarding recommendations for restaurants and local services. We needed HVAC help and staff made a phone call and we received immediate service, which was fantastic!! We can’t thank you enough.

When we first arrived the park seemed shabby and we felt unsure about the place. The pathways need leveling and the play areas could use attention but the bathhouse was well kept and any question or assistance was addressed quickly. Prices for long term stay are very reasonable, we stayed only one month but could receive packages and we got to know some neighbors. It was overall a good experience and we were able to enjoy the Slidell area and get into New Orleans very easily.

Called to inquire about pricing for my dad for a pull through space. Miss Suzanne was absolutely one of the sweetest individuals I have ever dealt with on the phone! She explained the pricing, rules, options, inclusions, exclusions, and every possible detail she could give about renting from Salt Bayou. She was extremely professional and informative. She is extremely personable and will make you feel like somebody cares! Even if I never have an RV personally, I would refer anyone inquiring about a lot to go here!

The good: Nice host. Nice neighbors, Wi-Fi actually was usable! The bad: price was a bit high for what you got. The big issue was, if you are there during or recently after rain of any amount, it’s a muddy mess. And safety wise I came within a fraction of having a bad fall. The mud was like ice! And also for driving the pot holes were terrible throughout the park. In general, lots of TLC needed in this park. We found a neighboring park much nicer………..and cheaper! We did have a very nice evening in the French Quarter.

We rented a cabin. Good size tiny house with a queen bed in the bed room a futon in the kitchen/ living room area and a loft above. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Easy check in and easy check out
