Leslie and Harry were wonderful hosts. This campground and RV park are very quaint and just outside of Capitol Reef. Dark skies at night are beautiful. The RV park is extremely well-maintained and clean. Bathrooms and showers are a refreshing retreat to the weary RV traveler. There are many good restaurants in town to choose from. If I had one criticism, and it’s only a minor one, the RV sites are a little close, but again very well maintained. We would certainly love to stay here again.
Great little campground close to Capitol Reef. This was our third visit. level RV spot facing the hills, clean bathrooms. Leslie was a godsend when we had a minor emergency and needed help on a Sunday evening. Was able to get us the help we needed and stayed until issue was resolved. Would definitely recommend.
Small, yet cozy place to camp. Plenty of shade, picnic tables, fire pits. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. Very nice views from the RV. A good place for hiking or trail riding with motorcycles or ATVs. Mexican restaurant right next-door. Very small town with a wonderful general store right up the road. Will go back again.
We stumbled across sand creek when trying to find a last minute campsite. The owner was incredibly kind & welcoming. We had a campervan & it felt like we were BLM camping. Beautiful campsite with an incredible sunset view! The showers were warm with good water pressure. Everything was clean & well taken care of. A perk is being walking distance to an incredible cocktail bar & restaurant (hunt & gather). 12/10 would recommend!
Beautiful campsite/ RV park! The cabins are also great! Cozy and quiet with beautiful views and everything you could need in the surrounding areas. The hosts, Leslie and Harry are extremely helpful and kind. There are several open shelters around the property with lights and tables for little dinner parties. All around amazing place to stay!!! Would recommend and will come back!
