They have clean bathrooms, decent playground for kids, the sites are a nice size and you’re right next to the water. Also this is the perfect side of the lake for a beautiful sunrise.
The park itself is nice. However, the numbering system does not match the online registration. We were asked to move after 24 hours because we did not know that there was another campground past the one we were at because it was not clearly marked. There was next to no guidance from park staff regarding check-in and the trash was not regularly taken out from the restrooms.
Adequately spacious camp sites with easy hook up. Nice view of the lake. We found it to be very peaceful. There is a nice hiking trail nearby.
We enjoyed the view and the vibe ok, but Sandy beach was infested with fleas and they made the trip (and post trip fumigation) miserable. July '24
Stayed here two nights. The view of the lake is nice and the swimming area is a 12 minute drive away. No camp host that I could find to complain about unleashed dogs scaring my kids. Sites are a little close together and the trashcans were overflowing. A few very loud air force planes also flew over repeatedly one day for training. Other than those issues I enjoyed myself. I was able to connect to internet on AT&T but not T-Mobile.
Nice, small, quiet campground. RV sites have 20/30/50 amp and water. Dump site is nearby and convenient. RV sites are parallel, but offset, so each site gets a nice view of the lake. Two nearby private toilet / sink / shower suites. Showers are pay showers so bring quarters.
