We were a group of 4 families, it was clean, there was water, bathrooms and the beach is just awesome, highly recommend! The trails around the campsite for mountain biking are also really cool and for all levels, the black rated trails are really good and raw, the blue ones are kid friendly

We loved this location, it was nice and beautiful scenery. The stars look amazing, but the biggest downfall is how people don't respect other families, blast music, scream, and act like drunkin fools at 2 am in the morning. Would have given it 5 stars, but next time, we will need to find an area with fewer crowds. People don't respect nature and pick up after themselves. A family let their dog poop in the lake with kids playing around. Dogs are on the loose and get in fights with other dogs. People ruin the experience and how rude they can be.

I guess if you try hard enough you can find something to complain about anywhere you camp. Could the grounds be better maintained, probably. On the positive side there are plenty of bathrooms, potable water spigots, and trash containers. the only thing we didn't like was the 3pm check-in and 11am check out. like others have said amazing views, sunsets and sandy beach like the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We had a great extended weekend after July 4. The campground is large and there are a variety of spaces including some down by the water with lots of trees and other group sites. Even the group sites though are less than a five minute walk to the water. We had a group site for four families including three trailers and a tent. It was perfect. There was even firewood waiting for us when we got there and the fire pit had been cleaned out.

We enjoyed our stay! Our spot was a few steps from the Sandy beach. It was perfect. If you don’t mind ants 🐜 they do not bite but they are everywhere. It was fun, quiet & clean.

Amazing reservoir in the middle of a high desert, Sandy Beach has both sandy beaches and shady cottonwood trees. No campsite has exclusive access to the beach, and you can moor your boat and jetski at the beach overnight. Tips: 🦟 Bring Mosquito and biting fly spray. 💧The campground water is clear, cold and tasty. 🐜 If you don’t like ants, this may not be the campground for you. They don’t bite though. 🗑 🚽 Try to avoid a campsite by the vault toilets or trash as they get quite smelly on a hot summer day. 🚘 One car is included per campsite. More cars have to pay the day and night use fee.
