We have been coming here two years now, we usually tent but have rented the cabin too. If you're a nature lover this is a hidden gem. The sunsets over the water are amazing. The 30/50 Amp sites have been dependable to run our ac unit, and it's convenient that the little campground store is within walking distance and offers groceries and live bait.

Paradise on the water! Rustic tent sites (with elec and spigot) literally on the shore. We spent 4 lovely nights here. Some wildlife, warm bay water to swim in, fishing and clamming and crabbing. No frills, but a great camp store and friendly, helpful folks. There are many long-term residents who value the quiet and calm of an almost-untouched natural place. Some are characters, all are amiable. The weather was a little rough but bearable. The area is pretty and the markets are wonderful !

We have been going to the cabin for years! Is it fancy? Maybe not but the view of the endless sky is spectacular. Walk out on the pier and jump in. Water is only 4 feet. Not crowded like the ocean beach. I took an amazing lightning photo with my phone not using video feature. Perfect for my friends and me and I live 20 miles away!

My husband and I stayed here long term (a little over a year). It’s beautiful year round and the staff are kind helpful and caring. If you wander around you will find more hidden gems. Hidden picnic benches, a field to play games, and much more private swimming/fishing access. Guests and residents are friendly year round. You will not beat these prices either! In an earlier review it was mentioned that the store had wood covering the windows. Well folks, that wasn’t the store. You have to drive past that old building and you will see the lovely little store with picnic benches. This is not the place for you if you’re seeking luxury. This is camping. A friendly, everyone knows your name, laid back area to relax, jet ski, boat, fish, and enjoy the clean air campground. Remember, you find diamonds in the rough. 🙂

The people that work in the store are really nice, but this campground needs totally renovated. Our campsite was on the water which was nice, but right next to us the log cabin was getting a new roof so we heard pounding and loud music for 2 of the days were there. That would have been nice to know! Also someone leaves well before 7 AM everyday on a loud motorcycle (the majority of this property are permanent residences). The bathhouse needs to be demolished and rebuilt and seems to be forgotten. Didn't appear to be cleaned the entire time we were there - a cigarette and ashes in the sink and the floor of the shower multiple days, mold, and smells. Wouldn't stay here again.
