Sandy River Camping

5 stars place! Absolutely phenomenal place to stay. So thankful for the opportunity to getaway to the cottage. The cottage has all the necessary items. Plus there are amazing views and great beaches to enjoy the Sandy river. The owners hospitality outstanding. Plus, the alpacas add to the experience and are absolutely adorable. The Sandy river offers great fishing and a short walk from the cabin to cast off the banks. There is a community room with lots of options of games and books to choose from to enjoy. Plus a ping pong table! Definitely a true gem.

We rented cottage and it was so impressive, very well organized, had all dinnerware, good quality sheets , towels, the views were fantastic , ping pong, corn hole, horseshoes, firepit, alpacas. The hosts were so nice and provided everything

Pizza used to be good, definitely not the same quality as a single slice out of the heater. I compare and think it's Arkay but more $.

I stayed 4 nights here in early June. Everything was great, owners were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t have much time to spend at the campground during the day, but the setting is beautiful, and includes a nice beach on the river.

An absolutely great experience. Beautiful and comfortable cabin. All possible needs supplied. Cooked in the cabins well equipped kitchen when raining and cooked on the propane grill or fire pit when sunny. Grounds very well maintained with great views and beach access on the Sandy River. Our grandson came to visit and had a ball playing games in the large grassy well manicured field, visiting the alpacas, and watching the fish jump in the river. My wife turned on Merlin ( a bird song identification app) and identified 12 different species of birds while sitting out with the morning coffee. Well stocked general store with gas just a few miles down the road. The owner was on site and available although everything we needed was already stocked in the cabin. Thanks Kendall.
