This KOA is 10 minutes from Santa Fe, that is a good thing, it is a nice quiet location, with Cedars around the sites. Honestly, the best KOA we stayed in during our last year. The two hosts were absolutely wonderful, providing insight into our plans and help with our needs. Exceptional service. The sites were nice and the bathrooms clean. We will return.
WARNING: Do Not stay in the KOA Paw Pen!!! It’ll ruin you for ‘normal KOA’ campsites! Absolutely fabulous upgrade with our own fenced yard, play area for our pup, astro turf, outdoor dining, bbq grill and fire pit!!! However the biggest benefit was how quickly we were able to settle into our site upon arrival and actually enjoyed the evening versus sometimes not even wanting to set up an area outside. FULL 5 STARS TO THE HARD WORKING FOLKS AT THIS CAMPGROUND.. I wouldn’t have popped the extra fee for this kind of site, but I certainly will from now on! Overall an excellent KOA campground and I have seen continual improvement every time we visit. These owners are just awesome.
Stayed in a cabin for two nights and enjoyed our stay here. The cabins were clean and the beds comfortable. The weather was really cold following a snowstorm. The floors were cold but the heater and ceiling fan kept us warm enough. The staff got the heater running for us so it was already warm when we arrived. I loved how the cabins were decorated and had a few extra touches like reading lights, and holders for cell phones and other stuff at the bed.
This is a really great little KOA! The store is nicely stocked and the grounds are well kept. Lots of amenities and they even have a game room and a putting green. They people who work here are so nice and helpful, and they make fresh pizzas and boneless wings on site and bring it right to your spot. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back when we’re in the area! Thank you for the hospitality!
The staff is extremely personable and nice, they go above and beyond for anything you need. The grounds and Rv slots are well kept and beautiful, they were super fast to add some gravel by my stairs to help with a little mud. Definitely a hidden gem right outside the city. Also love the little a store and that they make pizza and wings!
