Customer Reviews
RV hook ups, easy access, trees for shade. Men's and woman bathrooms and rustic shower. We pulled in late. It's on the Honor system, not really managed. It was what we needed, I'll bet it's beautiful in the summer. We visited on our way to Colorado for Thanksgiving. Came in late left early, didn't even find the money drop till the next morning. Price was right $25 a night.
It may not be big and fancy for the city slickers, but the owner was very kind to me. I will never forget it She was the only person and the lady who works at the liquor store. Hi
Great little spot to stop and camp if you need an overnight or a home base to explore the beautiful area. It is a bit outdated and in need of repairs on some sites but overall it's great. They only take cash $25. for full hookup. There's a drop box to put your payment in, self check. We stayed three night and we had a good nights sleep. It is right next to I25 but the road noise dies down by 10. There's also the train close by but we only heard it once and it only lasted about a minute. There's a bath house but I never went to look at it as I have a huge bathroom in my RV. We'll definitely be back, for the price and beautiful trees, it's worth it.
Perfect spot for a campground. It's in between Albuquerque and Denver. Needs some leveling, and trimming of trees, but you can't beat $25 a night for full hookups. It was hard to get someone to come to the door, but when she did she said to pick a site and then put $25 cash into an envelope into the box on the porch and we were set. It was quiet with our sleeping fan on, but their is a train nearby, and the highway. I might have heard noise from them once during the night. Will definitely remember this place.
No issues with this park - it met our needs. Very basic but cheap - $25/night for 30-amp. If you're passing through a staying a few nights & need a place to stay this will do. Mostly 30-amp sites with some 50-amp. Make sure to check water - even though all have it some may not work. Self check-in & no answer if you call the number. Also, no wi-fi or restrooms/showers. Sites are gravel & dirt. Could be messy if wet. A bit noisy at times from freeway traffic. Overall it met our needs.
