Absolutely stunning views. Great place to come and relax. Helps to have 4WD to get up to the camp sites. Cooler weather at night.
This is a great Yellow Post Campsite. Very peaceful up here on Santa Rosa Mountain. Sites 3 and 4 are my Favorite because they have a tap to Spring Water! It will take a full hour to get to the First Yellow Post site. Not very difficult. I make it in my Subaru XV Crosstrek. If you are looking to really relax this is the campsite to do it. There aren't a lot of hiking trails up here so plan on mainly relaxing and have good company😀
Worst place to camp. Found human feces at several campsites 🤮. The areas around Idyllwild are way better.
Cool place been there quite a few times .And get out. Of. The heat.
Hard to get to, nothing to do, don't go there
