Nice place to camp if you are in a tent or dry camping. There is a lot of road noise, but once you get towards the water, it isn't noticeable. The restrooms are clean and the camphosts are very nice.
We loved this spot will visit and camp again next summer.. we had a perfect campground experience and the river is beautiful. Detroit lake is just a quick drive and we had a great weekend.
Negatives: Right next to the highway, which is pretty noisy. The single sites are small and several of them don't have much shade. Positives: Has water access with beautiful views. 5 minutes from Detroit store in case you need something. Camp host did their best to keep the vault toilets clean and garbages from overflowing. Sites 1, 2 & 3 are right next to the highway but have some of the best shade.
Very beautiful campground. A little too close to the highway
No showers, disgusting bathrooms, and few water faucets were a huge inconvenience. However, the campsites are big and not squeezed together, the views are great, and the location is nice.
