We’ve been staying at Saratoga RV Park since fall 2019. At the time we initially came here because the park is open year round and many other places in the area close around Columbus Day. We now stay a month in the spring and a month in the fall every year. The reason we keep coming back is because Kelly, in the office, is so kind and helpful. Whenever we return she greets us so warmly and is so helpful and accommodating. The park has two sections one area is wooded and mostly seasonal sites. The other is an open area close to the front of the park, which is where we stay. We love our little spot here. However, we heard a rumor from another camper that Kelly wasn’t working here anymore (fortunately not true!). Our immediate reaction was, “where will we go now?”. That’s how much her presence makes this place so special. She’s always ready with a big smile and a “how can I help?”.

I travel all over the country with my family in our motorhome with our dog. We looked up pet friendly RV parks and made a reservation with Saratoga RV Park. Upon arrival I saw a sign that says no pets allowed only service animals. I mentioned I had a dog and he is not a service animal. The woman at the front desk had to call to confirm if his breed was on the list of not allowed and we were told he was on the list. Now I made this reservation a week prior to arrival on the reservation it asks breed of pet and had to pay in full to secure our spot. You would think someone would review the reservation and if a restricted breed was on the reservation they would reach out before you arrival date. I understand not allowing certain animals or none at all but I looked up pet friendly and never thought we would have an issue. We also have to wait 7-10 days for our refund. I travel all over the country for work with my dog and family and have never experienced this before. So if you have an animal make sure you call to reserve your spot otherwise you might show up and be told you cannot stay here.

It’s a beautiful park nestled in an area just south of the Adirondack Park. It’s got a country feel, but it’s so close to fantastic shopping & dining in Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls, Queensbury, and the gorgeous Lake George. The restrooms are cleaned daily and are always functional. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. We spent a long time in the park caring for elderly family members & everyone could not have been nicer. The park is very special! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!

The park was clean and the lady at the front desk was very helpful, Even let us change sites to be close to our family. The site was very woody and big space, which helped in these hot September days. The only issue I had was the bathhouse was too far away, and not many of them. But they were very clean and spacious. We would stay there again.

First, it is a nice looking place and the bathrooms are immaculate. The space we were given had a lot of mud and a little bit of grass. It hadn't rained, but the dew made the ground a muddy mess. The web site says they have organized activities. We were never made aware of any during our 5 days - which included an entire weekend. I am not sure how they got the picture of the pool that is on the web site, but the actual pool is the size of a small backyard pool that goes up to 4 feet deep. They tout being pet friendly. However, there is a sign in the office that they won't accept dogs if they suspect the dog is at least part of several popular breeds including German Shepherds, Malamutes, Husky or Chow (among others). There is no dog park. They have no poop collection containers anywhere, which leads me to my biggest disappointment... There is only one location to dump all garbage over the entire facility. It is located very far from some of the locations. Also, the two dumpsters there were quite full when we were there. They either need more dumpsters around the campground or daily pickup from the campsites.
