This is such a nice campground! The pool was super clean (but could use some proper ladders and a more physically friendly way of getting into and out of the pool, like stairs.) The bathrooms and showers were pristine! I’m picky and they were soooo clean! I was annoyed that ya had to pay for the mini golf… what? The shop was super cute and the customer service was amazing. I love the mature trees and landscaping. Definitely recommended! Because I can’t figure out a way to reply to the reply to the campground, I am going to edit my review instead. The ladders into the pool are lose and the steps of the ladders are also lose so I disagree that they are up to code or whatever they said. If you are disabled or a person of size it may be difficult to get in and out of the pool. I just feel that you should consider people with disabilities. With that said it’s a beautiful place and immaculately taken care of so it’s not even a big deal for me, it was just a suggestion. Thank you so much for the amazing accommodations!
One of the best KOA I ever visited. Clean place. Friendly staff, working as a team. Good amount of showers and bathroom. Fire pit was clean upon arrival. They have an external place to watch TV with a kitchen. They have a place to wash your dog with all the necessary equipment for it. I highly recommend this place.
This place could not have been in a better location for us. Amenities were perfect. We used the RV wash which was extremely affordable. Laundry opens at 8:30am with 4 washers and 4 dryers which made it perfect to quickly do our laundry however washers are quite small so what should have been 2 loads turned into 3 loads. Cancelation policy is a bit too long; we needed to change our dates almost 3 weeks in advance arriving 1 day early which they could accommodate and leaving 1 day early and we were stuck paying for the additional night. Unfortunate for us 30 days was just to far in advance. Dog poop was found on the site we had to clean up as well even though they do site checks. The guide to our site when we arrived was fantastic as well. We would stay again but we would pay the extra to site select so we had a little more privacy as a personal preference.
One of the BEST campsites we have ever stayed at. Clean, well-marked sites, beautiful landscaping, and so many great amenities! Far enough from the Soo to get that back-to-nature feeling, but close enough to town to make all the attractions conveniently close! Highly recommend Sault Ste Marie KOA!!
I real five-stars! What a fantastic camping ground. To begin with, it is located in a gorgeous area. The sites are very well-groomed, all the connections are working properly, and all the amenities are highly well-maintained. Special shout out to the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. The bottom line, I strongly recommend this campground.
