Not sure if they're still open but I lived there for a few months last year and really I loved it. Chris the owner was kind and understanding, he worked with me when I had domestic issues that weren't my fault and he helped me dispose of the problem with the police. He never blamed me and helped me work with them. He let me stay. Other than the owner, I also enjoyed my neighbors. The yearlong live in ones were very friendly and helping. When I had problems with my camper, Chris helped fix it or had his hired workers help me. The price was decent, free laundry, free hot showers, free fishing in a stocked pond on site. It was a nice time all the way around. Wish I could have stayed. Would def go back.
Got treated good. Hot water shower. Camp nextdoor Lady sent over flat stack and mashed potatoes . David the supper intended. Was a good person.. gave me hot dog. Ran me up to get gas. Would take nothing for it. I'll be back 😄
I've lived here almost 3 years now in my 5th wheel. Im a full-time camper. The campground offers: a game room, 2 individual bathrooms with free showers, free Laundry, playground, stocked fishing pond, tons of trails for, ATV, side by sides, horses or hiking. There's a camp store and on site propane refill. Each site has a fire ring and its a pet friendly campground. Pets must be vaccinated and on a leash. There are resident Ducks, deer and other wildlife to enjoy. The camp is not far from Shawnee State Park, Flight 93 Memorial, the Bison Corral here in PA and Rocky Gap Casino in MD. There's also Golf at Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford Elks, and Rocky Gap. I looked at reviews on here and I have to laugh because those with negative reviews brought their own problems here and were either asked to leave, Put Out, or skipped out. The owners believe in giving people a chance. The owners hold regular camp meetings and involve those here in most decisions and they keep everyone informed of the camps progress. Your camper is allowed here no matter its age where now a days most campgrounds put restrictions on the age of campers and RVs they allow in. Come check it out for yourself. New sites have just been put in and more are on the way. Monthly sites are reasonable electric available, Weekly and daily rates are available too. There is also Tent camping.
It's a nice place if you're handy in camper repair. Otherwise 🤷🏻
Been here 6 years met alot of good people that I now consider family always fun it's a great place to get away and enjoy life
I wouldn’t give one star. The worst customer service I’ve ever had. Chris, the owner, was kind, then he wasn’t. It took two and a half hours for his “employees” to change a tire, as he stood there and yelled at them what to do. After spending quite a bit in cash, the camper was NOT ready to go. We shredded a tire not even a mile down the road. I called Chris to let him know we were coming back and I would be getting my money back. He then took a photo of my ID on his personal device and hurried to block me on Facebook before I could leave a bad review to hurt his business.
