Customer Reviews
Absolutely unbeatable price! Great location and plenty of services nearby. A golf course is on site. Has 9 greens but 18 Tee boxes. Also, nearby mini-golf and pool. DRAWBACKS: 1. Bathrooms are horrific, typical public park facilities that's not tended to daily. 2. First come, first serve to site spots (no reservations), BUT there are a large number of site locations, even handicapped access spots. 3. Area is overrun with weed stickers. Those ball seed pods with thorny needle spurs. They attach to everything, and the thorns break off in your skin when trying to remove them. You need to wear enclosed shoes when outside. Some campers mentioned that they had faulty indications when trying to connect their electrical, but I didn't have that experience. All is all, for the price, I would stay there again
A pretty little city owned rv park complex. It’s a large park including this rv area. Water and electric with a dump site at the end. Nice restrooms and felt very safe here. An honor system pay station and was cheap to stay. Only star deduction was weather related… made the red clay muddy, (that $hit goes everywhere) and the goat heads, that made this spot not too dog friendly.
Decent city park on the Mother Road. In fact, just like Route 66, it's from a bygone era (see pictues). Picnic tables, horse shoe pits, golf course, as well as mini golf and playground for the kids. Didn't stay at the RV Park but walked through there. The sites are unpaved. For birders, look for Great-tailed Grackles.
This park is great! We've stayed here 2x with our 37' motorhome and towed vehicle. You can come any time. It's self serve. Leave $12 cash or check at station. Electric & water included. Dump station as you're leaving near the miniature golf. Very close to a Flying J with a Denny's in case you need anything. Playground, picnic tables and great views of golf course. Miniature golf and pool for additional charge if they're open. We haven't been able to use those yet. We'll be back! Great stop off I 40 soon after you enter OK from TX.
Beautiful city park! We pulled in late at night, no reservations needed and plenty of sites available. It was a bit hard to navigate spots at night. I think we pulled into the wrong section and just pulled up to an empty site with water and electric 30amp. Spacious grassy site for our 39’ with tow still unhooked and plenty of space. In the morning we simply grabbed an envelope, paid our $12 and done. The dump station at the road was not very useful as the angle where we parked next to it wouldnt let us drain. It’d be great if that was fixed. Would love to come back here again and spend a few days. There were playgrounds and mini golf areas, horse arena, and pool too I believe. Wish every small town had this. I forgot to take pictures of the RV area but managed to snap one of the pond.
