Customer Reviews
Fantastic campground, if you’re looking for quiet nights and no lights or music, this is perfect. If you’re camping to enjoy the quiet of nature, this is a great option. If you want to hang out and play tunes and light up your campsite, don’t camp here. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve EVER seen in a campground of any kind, ever. Great sites, nice and level. Can’t wait to go back. Oh and dark skies site, so no lights and amazing stars.
This is by far my favorite campground. Loop B had wonderful campsites, the sites were private and easy to access. We were in Site #31. The struggle for this campground is getting a campsite using the website, but it was so worth the stress. Our campsite was a pull through and very wooded. While the outdoor area of our site was kind of small, it was just enough to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this campground. The dump station was flat and easy to maneuver. Heads up that there are no showers here, but we had our camper so it did not bother us. They gave us a wifi password, but it only works close to the ranger station. Cell service is spotty.
Fantastic car camping! Super clean bathrooms, but no showers. Campsites are pristine…almost to the point the bushes looked like they were manicured. The sites were smaller than we’re used to in Ontario. But that’s not a big deal, as they were separated enough, that you had very good privacy. Big time hiking and biking campsite, if you have the time, take the drive down the point! Awesome views of the harbour!
The sites are well spaced out, very clean bathrooms and a very nice Visitor Center. Nice to have this option because our rig does not fit in the other Acadia campgrounds. the drawbacks are the Wi-Fi repeaters are in the bathrooms and so weak that unless you have the site next to it you aren't going to get any service. The bathrooms also do not have showers nor do they have septic on the sites It is about an hour drive to the other Acadia peninsula, Mount desert. We chose to drive to the hull Cove Visitor Center and take the L.L.Bean free shuttle buses rather than the ferry to Bar Harbor
This is an amazing campground, so glad we were able to experience it. We love the location, so quiet and peaceful. Great access to great bike rides, sightseeing, and shopping. Discovered my favorite food is Lobster Roll and Blueberry Pie!
