This motel is run by a lovely husband and wife team. Very sweet! There for a listening ear if you have the need. Rooms and linens are very clean! Way better than many hotels I have stayed. The building itself could use some updating (stairs, etc.) but the furniture and the rooms themselves seemed new. It's on a quieter space of the road, which is really nice and everything is a quick hop, skip, and jump away (food, shopping, Dutch wonderland, etc.)
This place is right in the middle of where I need to be. The rooms are very clean and organized. Clean grounds and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is right in the middle of the Amish community. There is a lot of stuff to do and shopping is really good around here. Several restaurants from fast food to the big chain restaurants and then there is the local Amish restaurants.
Location is great! Rooms are small, but bathroom was large. Walk in shower, but the shower curtain was white and very dirty on the bottom. It had pink on it which is indicative of bacteria. And there was no monitor for smoke/fire. Very dusty.
This motel was perfectly acceptable for the price. It was in a great location. The rooms are a little outdated but clean and there is no odor. We only stayed there one night and it provided everything we needed, a bed and shower. Do not let the other reviews deter you. If you want a bougie experience, then pay $300 and stay somewhere else.
Room was clean but small. Loved the location as it was close to lots of Amish things and the Sight and Sound Theatre. Downside was the traffic was very loud on the road. Loved that there was a field behind the inn though. No breakfast but free wifi.
