We stayed three nights in October. The pool area was closed. However, the sun loungers and beach chairs were available. Our entire time staying here was good. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff at the Cafe and bar were friendly. We ate breakfast at the Cafe - French toast breakfast sandwich was our favorite. The location is great. We walked to downtown every day, a lovely 7 minute walk. If you want a bit of variety for food, there's a restaurant across the street. (It's not affiliated with Scotty's but it's also good.) Beds were comfortable. Room size was fine for our group of 3. The room could have easily accommodated another person. There's a mini fridge and microwave in the room as well. This is a nice place to stay in Lake George.
We loved our stay at Scotty's! The location was fantastic and the amenities were great! Amazing location on the lake, with lots of comfortable seating available. We especially loved the outdoor sofas with umbrellas. My kids loved the pool and splash pad! Rooms were basic but clean.
Wonderful experience staying at Scotty's Lakeside Resort this weekend in Lake George, NY. Room was ready and clean and so comfy. Cafe serves excellent selection and really good food. Ate their for breakfast and lunch. Beach and firepits by the water were the best spot to hang out. I recommend and intend to return in the future!
I recently stayed at Scotty's Lakeside Resort, and unfortunately, it was not an enjoyable experience. The walls were paper thin, and we had the misfortune of being next to a room with a man who snored loudly. It honestly felt like the snoring was happening right in our room, making it incredibly hard to sleep. On top of that, the toilet in our room had a frustrating issue where it would randomly start running and wouldn’t stop unless we manually removed the top and adjusted it ourselves. This added an unnecessary inconvenience to our stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, hassle-free getaway.
We love this resort so much! but our room this time wasn't as nice as the last time we stayed. the bathtub needed a re-glaze and the shower head was coming out from the wall. also there was a bit of a mildew smell. I know the smell sort of comes with a beach resort but the room felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.
