Totally awesome name aside - you won't beat the friendly faces of the hosts here. They clearly work so hard to maintain, upgrade and add-to what is already a superb cabin / campground. I stayed at the Crowned Eagle - perfect for me at the end of a hiking / adventure day in the area - but was given the tour of the property. Just WOW to all that is here! Everything is perfectly spaced out - you'll enjoy your own space if that's what you seek, and the Gazebos are perfect for end of day gatherings if you camp in a group. The crystal mine at the top of the hill was very cool - and I have to admit that the plentiful humerous signs dotted around had me chuckling on more than one occasion. Bravo on the name Screaming Eagle, and bravo again on what you have here!
We absolutely loved our getaway at the cabins. We stayed in the Golden Eagle. So nice to disconnect from the world and enjoy the nature. I got to check off a bucket list item! I got to see a BEAR in nature - safely from a distance 😜. Dream come true! Thank you so much for all your hospitality!
Lovely camper filled with everything you need , very quiet area we enjoyed our stay . The hosts went above and beyond for my hubby's 55th birthday with balloons and chocolate cake ready on the table when we arrived 😀
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Screaming Eagle Cabins, and it was an incredible experience. The cabin was clean, cozy, well-maintained and surrounded by stunning mountain views. The proximity to both hiking and ATV trails makes it a fantastic spot for outdoor activities. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. We even caught a glimpse of a bear from a safe distance. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. They provided helpful tips about the area making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a mountain getaway with the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay! We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch, listening and watching for the wildlife. We also liked that the entrance to the Wolf Pen Gap atv trails were a short distance away, several miles down the road. The cabin was cozy and clean, and even had a small basket of snacks awaiting us! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and made us feel right at home. We will definitely go back!!
