Very nice quiet clean campground. Right on the canal and next to the beach area. Bike path is perfect all along the canal. Paved and east flat going. The beach is nice , a bit of a walk from the campground area where we stayed. There are campsites closer to the beach if you choose those. Ours was closer to the canal path. Lots of people were fishing in the canal. The campsite was fine for our 40’ MH pulling a Jeep. We didn’t have any trouble getting in. They are back in sites not pull through. There’s water and power , and a dump station but no sewer hookups. We enjoyed our stay.
A very well kept campground with friendly staff. It's right by the water. We will most definitely be coming back soon!
This is a great camping place if you have a mobile home or trailer & want to be right by the beautiful Atlantic seashore. Bathrooms, showers, store, food, playground all within the park. Then you are just minutes from highway that takes you to all the Cape Cod fun stuff.
Paid the most money I’ve ever paid for a campsite and have been camping for decades. It’s fine but not great. Clean enough but bathrooms could use an update. No privacy in the sites. Next campsite could literally touch our picnic table from his tent. No alcohol allowed, not sure why not. No campfires allowed except for the few tent sites. Beach is lovely except for all the washed up fish heads. Nice bike ride down the canal and location half way between Boston and Cape Cod is convenient. Close to strip mall type stores. If you leave before 8am the dump station is locked up. Expected more for the price.
Loved this campground!! Our first stay at a state campground and it was only overnight, but we will be back! Right near the beach, spacious padded sites. Great walking for the dogs and access to the biking path along the canal.
Great, affordable campground that’s steps from the beach. Limited sites have fire pits and there’s few hookups (water, electric only). There is a dump station, bathrooms and hot showers. This campground also has the Cape Cod Canal bike/walking trail. There’s a lot of good nature activities to do and a playground for kids. I would recommend this campground.
Nice campground wide open not too much woods , now allows fire rings 1-58 sites. There’s a beach , playground, pavilion, and you can walk the canal or sit and watch boats. Yes you can fish with a license
