Best little hidden gem on the quiet side. It definitely has a nostalgic feel because of its age but has been very well maintained. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! So glad we found it. The sunrise is amazing and a short walk to the Seawall. Shot drive to the light house and 2 great hikes in Acadia. (Wonderland, Ship Harbor, Bass Harbor Lighthouse) The staff is delightful and the stay is pleasant. Just FYI: walls are a little thin if you have a neighbor that is an early riser or night owl. Short distance to the best lobster 🦞 roll around at Charlottes Legendary Lobster Pound. Great location.

Such a lovely motel! While it is old, the rooms were very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can’t beat the location! It’s right in the park and a short drive from several hikes and the Bass Harbor lighthouse. They serve breakfast each morning with coffee/tea, cereal, yogurt, etc. Seawall feels very safe and is nice and quiet. It seems to attract a pleasant crowd too. The other guests were very respectful. Only good things to say!

First of all, the view is gorgeous. the NP picnic area is also very close. The price is okay considering other options. The problem is the room. I'm pretty sure my tent has better sound insulation than the walls here. The lack of a fridge inside the room is inconvenient and honestly sad for the price point. But again, it's still reasonable considering everything else on the peninsula. If you don't care about the fridge and the sound, then it's a great place to stay for Acadia. Otherwise, the Seawall campsite is right around the corner. One more thing, the booklet inside the room for advice on places to go is nice. All of these are only relevant if you stay at the motel part. I'm guessing the condo building has none of these problems.

We had a great stay at the Seawall Motel. While the room could have used some updating (and one of the beds was too soft), it was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was decent and I appreciated having coffee/hot water available. I also appreciated having a full-sized fridge and microwave in the common area. The grounds were nice - included a fire pit and a couple of gazebos. But the best part was that the water was merely steps outside the door. And we tried Charlotte's Lobster Pound (same owner, down the street) and it was the best seafood dinner we had our whole trip. Recommend!

Part of me doesn’t want to make a review because I don’t want anyone else to know about this FANTASTIC spot right on the ocean. Everything was absolutely amazing. My sister and I stayed for two nights. The staff is friendly (Ingrid is AMAZING) and rooms were clean and stocked with everything we needed. The breakfast was just what we needed to enjoy the sunrise on the water. Close enough to Bar Harbor and hiking in Acadia but far enough away on what is affectionately called “The Quietside”. If you want a great trip, stay here. 10000000/10 would highly recommend
