We traveled to Sebastian today to check out the State park. It cost us $8 to drive in. Make sure you hold onto your receipt because it will get you entry to each entrance of the park. We walked around in the shallow water picking up shells, catching little crabs and watching the dolphins swim nearby. We loaded up, drove over the bridge to another part of the state park. Showed the nice lady at the booth our receipt from before and we were in. This side had a nice size lagoon. Fairly shallow water for kids to play and dolphins would chase fish in and out. It was super nice. I will be back
A beautiful small beach with lots of dolphins! The park is easy to get to and get around. Lots of places to park and we came on a Saturday. There were a lot of people fishing, boating and few beach goers. Me can to enjoy the beach and and loves seeing all the dolphins who were hanging out by the inlet and so close to us. It was so much fun. The beach is clean and while we were there we saw staff walk around picking trash and making sure everything is orderly. Great park!
I absolutely love this place! We hiked the gorgeous trail by the marina and we swam in the lagoon. Where the lagoon opens to the channel, the dolphins come to play. A few even swam into the shallow lagoon next to me. Awesome!! (I am guessing that they come during the tides, we were there during low tide.) Just be careful not to go too far into the channel because the current is strong.
Amazing place especially if you have kids. Beautiful beach, clear water. You can watch the dolphins, we fished on the rocks, got to see lots of boats. $8 for all day parking. No complaints! Love love love . We drove over an hour to get here.
My husband travels with work and he was sent to Melbourne. We spent all last spring and summer in Florida and this was definitely the highlight of our trip we paid the $127 for a yearly pass otherwise it’s $8 every time you go, it is absolutely worth the price especially if you have little kids this place is absolutely perfect. We went 2-3 times a week the whole time we were there!!
