Campsite off Boreas Pass. The campsites are nice size but could be a little further apart from each other, and there is a house not too far away. No dumpsters so make sure you bring lots of trash bags. $15 per spot so make sure you bring cash. The campsite is off a long dirt road so if you are taking a car be cautious and fully stocked because you are about an hour drive from any store. If you are taking a car do NOT take Coronet Dr, it is way to rough of a road for a car, just take Boreas Pass.
Awesome campground with big spaces. Was able to drive in no problem with a sedan. When driving with low clearance vehicles over the pass, come from South Park and drive North on the pass towards the campground. Follow signs for Selkirk CG - if your maps tells you to go up a different road (you'll come to a fork-ish road) ignore it unless you have high clearance vehicle. The sign pointing to Selkirk CG says its miles away but it takes less than 10 min to get there. When leaving (or going to Breck) go south out of the pass too and then around the highways. The road is 10 times better on the southern part than the northern towards Breck and it will take 10 times longer to traverse with low clearance vehicles. Campground host came by the clean the toilets twice in the weekend we were there! Very clean and well kept spaces.
Quiet and wooded campground with vault toilets, no water.
Nice campground overall. Spots are more cramped than at some sites but not obnoxiously so. No water or electrical hookups and only one toilet. Great hiking trails nearby. However, the road past the campground is pretty rough with one small stream crossing so don't attempt it in a 2WD vehicle unless it has been dry recently.
I have never had a problem getting a space here. It has been our go to spot for 5 years now. The drive there is stunning. And the trail to get there is fun as well!
