Absolutely outstanding. I felt like a kid again. Better i went thirty-five years back in time, listening guitars and harmonica quietly playing on the background. Beautiful place, wonderful, hardworking owners with vision and perfect execution of they dreams for the future of the campground. I had a chance to have a private tour with one of them, and let me tell you. After we are done, I have no doubt this campground will be named Jewel of Maine. I was so excited learning about water treatment for the customers and fiber optics for better connection with the outside world and plenty plenty more coming to this camp in the future. I'll be visiting this place a couple of times a year. Thank you for great experience, peace, and beauty.

Our experience was overall very disappointing. We stayed in a cabin here for 2 nights a couple of weekends ago and it left a lot to be desired. We were freezing to death as the heat pump in the cabin barely put out any heat, and it was a cold late October weekend. It probably needs to be cleaned/serviced. We had it cranked as high as it would go, but it still hardly produced any heat, leaving the cabin very chilly. Also, the lighting in this cabin was TERRIBLE. There were several lamps, but almost none of them worked. The light in the shower didn't work either, and the light over the sink was very dim. We found ourselves frequently having to use the flashlights on our phones. Lastly, there were people staying in a camper right outside of our cabin, who were very loud, both early in the morning and late into the night, which we did not appreciate at all, especially when the entire reason we were there was for a peaceful and quiet weekend getaway. We will definitely not stay here again, nor would we recommend this campground.

We had such a great time staying in the log cabin. It was perfect for our family. Very clean and cozy. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. We spent most of our time enjoying the deck overlooking the lake or being in the lake swimming. I was very thankful for the AC on the hot days. We will definitely be back to stay again.

My husband, toddler and I were hopeful for three days tent camping, relaxing on the lake. Unfortunately, we had to leave after one night because the people residing in tents on either side of us were quite literally chain smoking the entire night. My son has asthma, and I am pregnant. Even without those factors, it’s unbelievable that you would come to the great outdoors and not be able to breathe clean air. I didn’t know it was even possible to smoke at a campsite, but we have clearly never stayed at a private campsite before. We left after one night. The front desk person offered us an open camper site instead, after we had already packed up and were ready to go. However, I think we would have run into the same problem at any site. Sites are packed in like sardines, and smoking was rampant. We were told the owner would be reaching on to us, and they never did. We were not offered reimbursement for the two nights we were unable to stay there. Do not go here if you are a family looking for a safe, quiet weekend.
