We spent one week with my family in this remote place while exploring kings canyon and sequoia park ( 20 minutes from the west entrance ). The cabin is rustic and cosy, the views are spectacular from the sunrise to the sunset, The surrounding nature is breathtaking ,birds , cattle gazing, .. From there you can also hike to the lookout where we met Lee the firefighter , very interesting encounter ! To sum up , on your way to the parks you should stop there , but to embrace the complete experience stay there few days , It’s a life changing experience !
Amazing getaway! They’ve got a cute sunset spot, a bunch of cows grazing, trails, and full kitchen/showers. Was a good distance away from kings canyon and sequoia and would come back here again for another hiking trip!
Absolutely breathtaking spot hidden away in the wilderness. We had an amazing time at the camp and stayed in one of the renovated cabins. The cabin was well decorated, super cozy and beautiful. The location is perfect - situated in the hills overlooking the sequoia range for a great quite getaway. And a short easy drive to kings canyon makes it really great for exploring and seeing the massive sequoia trees.
We had a wonderful time staying in one of the yurts for a night. It was very cozy and clean. The facilities on site were unique and well maintained. We can’t wait to go back!
