We arrived at Sequoia and Kings Canyon at 5 AM, greeted by the towering giant sequoias, including the famous General Sherman Tree. The parks’ rugged trails and breathtaking views made for an amazing day. We enjoyed a packed lunch surrounded by nature. The only downside? Limited cell service. Still, an unforgettable adventure!
Foothills Visitor Center, Tunnel Rock, Hospital Rock, Amphitheater Point, Vista Point, Four Guardsmen, Giant Forest Museum, Congress National Recreation Trail/General Sherman Tree, Lost Grove, Kings Canyon Overlook, Kings Canyon Visitor Center, General Grant Tree, Big Stump Grove… Trees and trails… Rocks and roads... Water and wild animals… Simply stunning. Enough said.
Sequoia National Park is a whole different universe. The trails? Epic. One tree’s been burning inside for like 6 months, crazy right? And you can even drive through some trees! Oldest trees in the world here, and the General Sherman Tree is straight up the largest according to Guinness. Fresh air, chill vibes, nature at its finest.
Beautiful park and awesome scenery. The trees are greater in person than one can picture. Moro rock has a great view again , that cant be put in a picture but one can try.
Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are a stunning reminder of nature’s grandeur. Walking among the towering giants, you feel like an ant in a forest of ancient trees that stretch endlessly toward the sky. The sheer size of the sequoias is humbling, and their quiet majesty creates an atmosphere of awe. As you wander through the groves, thw landscape surrounds you, offering a peaceful, almost worldly escape. A place where nature’s scale puts everything into perspective, making it a visit for anyone seeking awe and serenity.
