Directions to this campground are not correct - keep going straight on the dirt road for another 100 feet or so, and you'll find the turn for the lower campground on the left. Unfortunately, we were here when a lot of the surrounding area was on fire, so it was really smoky and we had ash on our tent when we woke up in the morning. Other than that, it's a great campsite with a bathroom, picnic tables, and plenty of open campsites. Be careful on the road going in, though. There's a lot of deep potholes, but if you drive slowly and keep an eye out, you should be fine. There's also a beautiful creek that runs by some of the campsites.
