Super beautiful and peaceful. Pristine little stream. Went here to investigate a famous murder mystery! Best to drive with a sport utility vehicle due to large, sharp gravel..for miles. Found out the expensive way it was too much for my low sporty car. Gravel dings.. and later, my auto shop pointed out the same sport tires I always buy, because I prefer good road handling, are shredding. That’s a first!
Very remote location. Due to forest trees and elevation this camp is cool to cold weather wise. The road is gravel with lots of washboard.
You can typically get a site here on a weekday but good luck on the weekends, fills up very quickly. The facilities are in good condition though, lots of tall trees.
