Nice spot to camp if you can find one, super popular due to Three Pools near by and Opal Pool. Closest store is in Gates about 30 min away. Nice swimming holes with beautiful waters and ropes to jump in through out! Only down fall is all the dust from so much traffic on gravel road.
Love this campground! Nestled perfectly within the Opal Creek Wilderness. It's so close to so many awe inspiring and adventurous activities like hiking, waterfalls, and ghost towns with a ton of old machines and cars to check out. I will never forget this place and hope to visit again very soon!!!
It was absolutely amazing here. I would highly recommend camping here. Very cheap per night very clean. Lots of places to hike and adventure. Love it here
Gorgeous! Opal creek views and the old growth trees😍 The hiking trails are well maintained we will return:)
No one was there. Whole place to ourselves. Clean well kept campground! And it was so beautiful. Camp sites are close but there is alot of river/forest sounds that smother other noises.
