I have stayed at shady grove several times and it is by far the cleanest and friendliest staffed park I have ever been to. The grounds are always clean including bathrooms and laundry facilities. Every staff member I’ve ever encountered has always been super friendly and helpful. My kids love camping here and seeing all the wild life. Aaron is always kind and friendly. It’s an amazing atmosphere you can tell how much everyone cares about this campground 💯 recommend taking a vacation here! I can’t tell you my favorite spot though 😜
We camped here with our entire work crew at the group sites, and it was an amazing experience. The sites were spacious with plenty of room for set up, plus they had electric and water hookups, which was super convenient. The group site is ideal for large families or friend groups, The site had a big shared pavilion with grills. There’s even a walking trail directly behind it that leads to your own little island and beach area, which was a nice bonus! We had such a great time, and the bathrooms/showers were clean, spacious, and had hot water. We can’t wait to come back!
Great staff,clean park,clean restrooms, hot showers,beautiful views of the lake & lots of water front sites. They have on site campers,yurts & watercraft rentals .Lots of deer! Beautiful beach and large playground. Group sites are the best for a larger crowd! 10 out of 10 for everything this park offers! The manager is awesome! Staff is the best and keeps the park up very well!!
I stayed with a friend over the weekend, and had an absolute great time. The park was very nice, and the restroom and showers were nice and clean. The park manager and staff were as nice and accommodating as can be. It was a very nice, quiet and relaxing weekend. I plan to book a site in the near future to take my family for a couple days. I would highly recommend Shady Grove if you are looking for a family friendly campground.
