All reviews before 2024 are null and void. The new owner Jon is a top notch guy, which translates to the campground becoming top notch as well. His envision is welcoming. I've been a seasonal camper there for 12 years. It's refreshing to see new work, upgrades, enthusiasm and the envision coming to life. You will not regret staying here.

Sept 2024 New owners are working hard to bring this cute little RV campground back from disrepair and grumpy old management. All the sites are on a spacious , level green lawn with picnic tables and fire pits, large beautiful oaks provide plenty of shade and privacy from the road. The new owners are currently upgrading the electrical to provide more 50 amp sites and updating the shower rooms. A quite little piece of paradise close to town.

Under new ownership! Extremely friendly staff and a great location to easily access lake champlain without having to book 9 months in advanced. Quick day trips to the Ausable Chasm + Ausable Forks. Great stop on the way to montreal. Highly recommend!

Shady Oaks is under new ownership, and the service is excellent. Jon has made this a beautiful space for all who want to get away and enjoy the north country.
