Customer Reviews
This is our second time to camp. First time was rustic and there are nice sights. The second time we spent in a Class C with full hook ups. This campground is clean, staff is friendly and has shower and bathrooms. They also have a coin washer and dryer The campground is tucked into the woods nicely and you are not far from Yankee Springs, Hastings and the Casino. There are good places nearby to go out to eat. They have activities for kids, adults and dogs!!! This place is a gem!! They take care of their campers to have a pleasant stay. There is shelter in case of storms.
This campground is great for people with families or just for those who wish to just get away to nature. I feel like it's the next up-and-coming campground in Barry Country. The staff in the campground is always willing to go above and beyond for the campers that are staying there.
The hosts were wonderful, the site was well kept and clean, the restrooms the same. It was our first stay and we'll definitely be back!
Needed a last minute campsite for a local race that I registered for and Sharp Park was recommended to me. They had sites available that evening at reasonable prices and when I let them know that I would need assistance backing in my trailer at arrival, they assured me that they would have someone available to help. As promised, I had assistance even though it was later than I had hoped to arrive and it was dark out. They had a family movie playing when I arrived, and the next morning I was able to see more of the park amenities before I left. The playground equipment was well maintained and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained as well. I typically camp at State Parks, but this privately owned campground seems like a very family friendly option.
We loved this campground. Every employee was super nice and helpful, and the facilities were great! Bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The best part is being so close to Yankee Springs Rec area there was so much to do! We did mountain biking, boating, hiking, off roading, canoeing, swimming and more all within 10 minutes of the campground, plus there is so much to do at the campground.
