After a day of exploring, soaking in the hot tub under a starlit sky was magical. The soothing warm water, coupled with the crisp evening air, created an unforgettable atmosphere of peace and luxury. We truly appreciated the charcoal grill and the fire pit--firewood included! The fire pit offered warmth not just for the body, but for the soul, fostering connections and lasting memories. The cabin's amenities, along with its serene setting, made for a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a family adventure, or a solo detox from the world, this cabin checks all the boxes. Highly recommended for anyone craving a peaceful getaway.

We are independent travelers. Shawnee Forest Cabins were great in their "no-contact" service! Everything was organized, intuitive, good instructions, good maps, good labeling on the property, and great electronic communication. We didn't have to talk to anyone. We just showed up, found our cabin, followed the instructions, and began our relaxing weekend. The cabins were newer and clean. They definitely gave a rustic feel with cushy amenities. We highly recommend staying at these cabins if you like a mix of rugged outdoors with some creature comforts.

We had a great experience at Shawnee Forest cabins! The cabin was perfect for my husband and I and even allowed us to bring our dog. It was small, but clean and had all the basics we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed using the fire pit and appreciated the free firewood! The service seemed great—the owner emailed while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. Location was great, just a few minutes from Garden of the Gods. Looking forward to visiting in the future!

These cabins were such a good choice to celebrate NYE for a few days. They totally exceeded my expectations - the cabins were clean, well organized, easy check in, and very responsive staff to answer questions we had when we got here. The mattress feels like memory foam, the water pressure was better than my own house, and the hottub was clean. Less than 10 minutes to lots of trail heads as well. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to get away from the usual routine. Cabin is clean and well maintained. Beautiful views outside the cabin at night. Jacuzzi is well maintained and private. Very short drive to Garden of the gods parking lot with lots of beautiful trails and hiking. Not far away from a farm for horseback riding. I will definitely be coming back every year. Thank you for this amazing experience.
