Customer Reviews
We stayed 6/20-6/22 at the Turkey Creek location. The bathrooms were in rough shape, dirty, no hands soap. The showers were automatic with no temperature control so the shower water was blazing hot. The changing area is shared with all 3 shower stalls (not private) so most of us tried to change in the shower stall itself but with the automatic water, it didnt work out great. The beach didn't seem to be kept clean but a good amount of people were using it. There's some good hiking trails that connect to the campground which is nice. Lots of things to do!
Our site was beautiful, though quite unlevel. We maxed out our BAL Leveler to get to level but we got there. The staff were friendly. I know I had seen online that the mini golf was free but it was 3 dollars per person. We didn't mind paying it since it supports the park but I figured others would like the heads up. Campground was never overly loud but was definitely very quiet on Sunday night. We also love how close the campground is to the main Shawnee Lodge. We do plan on camping here again.
$2.50 a person for putt putt. Only a 9 hole course but u can do it twice. Boats are so much fun. Paddleboats are a lot of fun too. You can do a lot for cheap. Highly recommend for families
Rented a camper cabin, the cabins are adorable but the beds are basically laying on plywood. My husband and I left by 10 pm because the beds were so uncomfortable even and pulling the bunk mattresses and stacking we were still sunk down into the plywood. Spent a total of 5 hours at camp🤦🏻♀️
Very well maintained. Bathroom/ showers cleaned daily. Putt putt is only 3 bucks a person. You can sign out toys for free.
