Very nice campground. All the sites are paved. Most are quite large . The pull throughs are extra long. We enjoyed the hike/bike trail that's fully within the park. No pool but the kids will love the splash pad. We didn't use the dog park although it has everything you'd want.
Large, full hook up campsites. Not crowded together the way full service sites are in some campgrounds. Water and sewer available even in March. Reported to be available year round. I can only confirm availability in March when I camped. The pull through sites are very long. Picnic tables are secured to the cement pads. This disappointed one reviewer but I am fine with it. Meant I didn't need to retrieve my picnic from another site where someone moved it and didn't return it! In March only the family shower/comfort stations were open which was sufficient. They were clean.
We normally camp at the campground down the road and we were originally scheduled to camp there. When we arrived they were paving our sites and we had a group of 4 different campers that had to move. So, we were moved to this campground. Loved it! They have done great job building this campground. Another added bonus there’s actually cell service at this location unlike the campground up the hill. Not many trees but they have a bunch planted to create shade in the future.
First time coming here to campground will definitely be back.
We enjoyed this campground. It is about 10 minutes west of Portmouth. All sites are full hook up and fairly level. They offer a splash pad and playground but they are a little ways from the campsites. They have disc golf and a kayak loop to paddle.
