beautiful site. fishing walking distance caught 5 while there. very clean bathroom. shelter A is very big inside 20x30ish, had 5 queens on one side, and the 3 picnic tables on the other. there is a little place just up the hill behind bathroom that has power but set up for a projector to watch movies. no cell service but go 2 miles north to ski lodge to get service and ice some drinks and snacks. taos is 20ish miles away with everything you need. they have a corral and horse trials on-site. we stayed from may 28th to June 5th. low 40s at night mid 70s day. low humidity perfect weather for fires and sleeping. host said if we were here a few weeks later the wild flowers would be everywhere. big horn sheep, mule deer, and elk expect to see.
