We just stayed for a week. Very clean and efficient park. Staff was very nice Lots to do for all ages. It's a kids paradise. Just 15 minute drive to Godridge if you want to shop or go to the beach. It's a very pretty town and the lake is amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at Shelter Valley. The grounds were clean, the staff was very friendly, the campers were respectful and it was nice and quiet at night! I loved having a pull through site with water and gray water available. The stars were very bright at night. Only markdown is because the spots are quite small and close together. In the morning, it did smell a bit like poo... we thought it was from the septic or accidentally black dump in the gray dump from neighbors, but after a few days of bopping around, we realized it was just the mild smell of farm country.

A well run campground that my sister has a trailer in. She's been there for 8 years and really likes it. It's a long drive from Toronto.

Victoria Day weekend was wonderful. The fireworks were absolutely amazing. It was a nonstop 30 minute display...better than most city's event. The Sunday breakfast was incredible. The Owner's and Camp Committee should be proud! We ONLY camp at Shelter Valley..the staff is very friendly, the Owners are outgoing and friendly despite their busy schedule. It is one of the cleanest parks I have been to and is VERY kid friendly! Our 2 year old Grandson gets so excited when we enter the camp. We are booked there for 80% of this summer...can't wait to return in 2 weeks.

This is a very nice camp. The staff members we dealt with were all very pleasant. Girls in the store were knowledgeable and very pleasant. The owners also very nice have obviously put their hearts and soul into this place. We stayed 7 days sites were cut clean and had nice mature trees for the sun shy among us. Bathrooms were always clean although I never happened across them doing it they were spotless the whole time we visited. Fishing access is great. I fly fish and it's nice and open area of water with good flows and channels to choose from. The water is around knee deep in sections so i waded out. Nice hiking paths as well. Pool and play ground are well maintained. There was no trash to be found anywhere. The people in the camp are also very friendly as I had the thermostate go out my car and had no problem getting the tools to fix it. This was our first time here and my family has started talking about getting a camper to put here as a permanent they likes it so much. We range in age from 48-4 that's a tall order for everyone to be happy. The only downside is the cell service is poor there is internet but it is extra and we didn't get it so I can't comment on that. We saw the lack of cell and internet as a blessing in that we actually had real conversations and played games and made real use of what this park has to offer. Next time I will bring my canoe as I regretted not having it for this gem of a place.
