There was a beautiful deer hanging out at our campsite as we were pulling in. A lot of space between sites, level ground, good hookups. Close to a gorgeous biking walking trail. Roads in this area can be quite steep.

Beautiful views of the mountains from campsite. Shenandoah River is right there on the campsite, would be great for the summer months. Tons of trails great for families with dogs or those wanting to get out and hike. The campsite featured some of the best bathroom / shower houses, they were super clean and well maintained. Each campsite had tons of space and was gravel and featured a picnic table and fire pit. We had electric and water hookups at our site. There was a dump site available. There were several gas stations nearby and we were less than 30 minutes away from Front Royal and the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We paid $46 a night for the campsite and felt it was worth it.

Views from the RV campground are absolutely breathtaking. They're a good size, and decently (though not completely) secluded. It was easy to find even though I wasn't familiar with the area, and checking in was a breeze. The only irritation I had was that the firewood could have been better sheltered from the elements. When I got there, it was soaked from the prior day's snowstorm.

Newer infrastructure. Level spots with water and electricity and good spacing between sites When we were there there was some kind of pump station making noise near site 24. Several trails and river access. There is an RV dump station near the dumpster.

One of the best state parks I have visited. Beautiful scenery and showers were top notch. Lots of room at campsite and perfect if you have pets. Only issue was we have verizon and could not get a signal. Would still come back!
