This county run campground is on the smaller size and yet it offers a set of playground equipment to help the younger kids burn off some of that excess energy, a basic boat ramp, and an enjoyable view along the Wapsi River.
It's a great spot to drop off and pick up kayaks. The boat dock is a little muddy but usable. Its very secluded and right on the wapsi which is nice if you're looking for some peace and quiet. The showers and bathrooms are very clean and maintained very well. To me it is an ideal spot to camp.
Didn't stay. Gravel roads all the way to campground. One lane when you get to campground. No water hookup.
Very nice peaceful small camp site. Bathrooms were clean 👍 great spot to fish and swim since the water isn't that deep! Will be back again, thanks!
