Sherwood Forest Camping & RV Park

I have been camping here with my family since very little. Just checked in again this past weekend as an adult now with my own kids and it brought amazing memories. Minor but much needed upgrades but layout was EXACTLY the same. I will be staying here every summer dells stay. Very close to downtown you could literally walk there. Short drive to walmart for your convenience. Bathrooms were clean for the most part for a campsite I would wish the shower walls would be cleaned a lot of wear to it. But every time I went in trash was taken out nothing was on the floor obviously muddy floors in the bathroom but what can you do. Warm showers you did have to push to have the water come out no way to adjust the temp of the water but was nice for my kids and I. The only down part I can say is while everyone showers the water temp changes quickly from cold to warm then back to cold. There is only one shower that's pretty consistent and I would wake up extra early to get first dibs, has outlets in bathroom for your convenience. Has a fabulous game room. Never used the laundry room but went to check it out and looks very well put together.

Read the reviews and went with little expectations. Ended up being a nice campground. Bigger sites, close to the Dells, great kids play area, bathrooms were clean, fully stocked store with bomb ice cream cones. Was the 1st weekend of Halloween camping and everyone had an excellent time

We had an overall great experience at the WI Dells Sherwood Forest. The staff were very flexible and accommodating at placing us in a site that accommodated our preferences and needs. The park was very quiet and fellow guest were respectful of quiet times. The bathrooms and showers were well kept as far as campgrounds go. The only mild noise inconveniences were the train and neighboring business. Overall we had a very pleasant time and would certainly visit the Sherwood Forest when returning to the Dells.

I was at site 174, it is not leveled at all and actually on a slant. My husband had to go to Home Depot and build 2 steps to add to the stairs of our camper because the steps were so high from having to level it because of the slant on the site. It did rain and the site was nothing but one big puddle. The sites are EXTREMELY close together!! Both playgrounds are awful and probably the original from the 70's. My kids who are 7 and 9 wouldn't play there. The merry go round doesn't even move. The bathrooms and showers..... AWFUL and SO DIRTY!!!!!!!!! The staff in the office is nice and the pool is nice. Definitely would not return nor recommend.

Sherwood was a great place to camp for our honeymoon this past week! But there needs to be some improvements for the bathroom cleanliness plus the showers, and also the grass by our cabin wasn't mowed plus some other places not mowed. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay for the last week!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Sherwood Forest this weekend! We stayed on site #85 which was a pull-through and super level. It was a gravel pad which was very nice because it rained a lot, but we didn’t have to deal with mud. The pool was really nice and we all thoroughly enjoyed it on the only sunny day of the weekend. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and we felt very safe. The park itself is located close to all the main attractions the Dells has to offer, but still feels secluded from the hustle. We would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice, no frills, good quality and affordable campground.
