Great RV campground with spacious sites.Very friendly staff, beautiful scenery, wifi, on site Laundry facilities. Clean restroom and shower. Love the quite with stunning river view. Good place to enjoy/relax. Also they have well stocked camp store..
Best RV campground in Sacramento! This place is awesome. So quiet, super green, and right on the Sacramento river banks. Reminds me of southeast Asia. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rates are reasonable. Convenient to shopping and downtown Sacramento but you can still feel miles away from everything. Nice walking trail along the river to take the pups on as well. I've stayed twice and look forward to returning.
Good place on the river. Sites are grassy and a bit unlevel. Restrooms are clean and a bit of a walk from the campsites. Also, require a 15$ cash refundable deposit for key to restrooms. We had good AT&T cell service. Staff folks were very nice.
A unique, enjoyable, scenic Marina/RV park. Unfortunately its very “clicky”…if you don’t “fit in” to their(owner/staff)liking …you’ll be asked to leave. Disappointing and unnecessary for a simple RV camping trip.
Quite a scenic and serene stop over for one who stays a few nights, extended stays are a different matter. Be prepared to have your privacy intruded upon by the owner, a micro managing tyrant who recently had a state of art surveillance system installed despite no incidents of break ins or vandalism to my knowledge, in fact it’s quite safe in that respect. So if you are okay with being monitored both visually and audibly then you’ll fit right in. On a note of positivity the entire staff are friendly and most helpful, this despite a steady diet of brow beating to their credit remain loyal to the seemingly jovial rotund owner baring a resemblance to friar Tuck of Robin Hood lore. But behind that facade lurks a man who despite having plenty of nickles to rub together which one would think would be allocated for desperately needed repairs to the site overall, instead the rob from the rich but not give back in return analogy is a fair assessment. I’m fairly certain that the founding patriarch and his vision of an atmosphere of traditional values, respect and hospitality have fallen woefully short in continuing his legacy. My veracity certainly should be open to question therefore read the testimonials offered by others, one in particular by Gayle Gipson who offers a similar critique echoing that which i have proffered and draw your own conclusion.
