We are part of a group of 5-7 families that vacation together for a long weekend once each summer. We just stayed at Sheshequin for our third year in a row and, really, it just keeps getting better. The bathrooms are clean, the sites are excellent, the prices can't be beat, and the owners are amazing. This place is on the smaller side, but overall very nice! The bathrooms are maintained a couple times a day for those who are tenting or just visiting. The sites that we visited our family at seem to be a good size so you're not on top of each other. Decent sized playground too. Only thing I would say is because it's a smaller Campground it's not very big for kids to ride bikes around. And half the campground is on the other side of the road. The creek is a nice place to swim and fish.
We loved our visit to Sheshequin! The owners, Ken and Tammy, are delightful folks and made us feel part of the Sheshequin family. A laid back, relaxing atmosphere nestled in a beautiful area between mountains. The property was immaculate and complimented by the soothing sounds of Lycoming Creek. We were there during Little League World Series and it was fun to visit with different groups of kids and their families from across the country in this atmosphere. We heartily recommend Sheshequin Campground and look forward to returning again!
My husband and I have been going to this campground for 5 years and we absolutely love it. Its a smaller campground but with plenty of space. The grounds are very well maintained and there’s plenty of swimming spots within the campground. The owners are so kind and they really do there best to show it. We usually camp in the tent sites but we have also stayed in the cabin which was wonderful and very well maintained. Can’t wait to get back there this Memorial Day.
I have not stayed here, personally, but I live right next to this place. The owners are extremely friendly, always keeping busy working in their park, and go above and beyond for the community. We got flooded last year and they set up a trailer for donations and let Red Cross use their main pavilion, as well as helped serve a hot meal when we were all cleaning up after the flood. They have many return RV customers over there every year, too, so they must be doing something right!
