We stayed in the campgrounds and loved the site we had. Short walk to everything, clean. The restroom/bath house Wes clean, good water pressure. I want to highly recommend but I hate to share this secret gem!
Great beach and tackle shop. Cabins and lodges look wonderful. I didn't go inside. $2 a person entry fee. Plenty of grills and picnic tables.
Had an awesome stay. Fishing was great camping was clean and our spot was accommodating for 2 large tents and our vehicles
We stayed here in our RV. Bathrooms are kept clean, showers are adequate (warm, not hot). No full hookups here, but wonderful, safe, gated place. Scenic and peaceful.
Short Stay is a little gem located in Monck’s Corner. A beautiful campsite and beach for military members, their families, and loved ones. My husband and I came here with his parents and our kids. The camp area has multiple plots where you can reserve a spot to call home for the night. People showed up in RV’s and tents and had fire pits to enjoy quality time with each other. Being around nature and unplugging from electronics was much needed. Our second day there we explored beyond the campsite and checked out the basketball court, then ventured to the beach where the vibes were definitely top-tier. Music blasting from boats and everyone in the water soaking up the sun was just what we came for. Right by the beach they even have beautiful townhomes to rent with volleyball nets and grills for some outdoor cooking. The gift shop on site also has a nice variety of things like souvenirs to clothing and even food. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. Short Stay is awesome for a quick stay with friends and family and you gotta try it out. Just be sure to bring bug spray and sunblock!
